Information Architecture is the bare bones structure of every website. It’s an important step in the design process and when done correctly, it drastically enhances the usability of a site. There many different ways to create an Information Architecture. I personally like a good old fashioned Card Sort because it’s very hands on and provides an excellent visual representation of the pages of a website.
